Review of first episode only. Unfortunately I dont think I'll be continuing past the first. I think I actually prefer the Animated Series to this. It's been 30+ years, I would've expected updated animation. I appreciate paying homage to the Animated Series, but it could have done it with an updated style and complexity. Aside from character changes, the story brought nothing new to the story of Batman. This is definitely been there, done that storytelling. I would've liked to have seen a little darker, more adult and definitely more complex storytelling. I feel this is more for children, not that there's anything wrong with that. The first episode should've come out swinging. It should excite viewers to want to continue watching. It just didn't do that for me.
