If you’re a REAL Transformers fan, you’re not gonna like this movie! I truly thought this movie was incomparable to the original movies in the franchise that were directed by Michael Bay. If I’m being honest, I really didn’t like it all that much. Which is really sad because I am the biggest Transformers fan. I am obsessed with the first movies and was completely looking forward to this one yet I have to say I was disappointed. I thought the dialogue and script was cringe and mediocre at times and not up to par. There were, however, some really good fighting scenes and Optimus one-liners, but overall I do not like the direction the new director is taking compared to Michael Bay’s original movies. The focus was way too centred around the human and not enough on the primals or Autobots. I also thought they completely changed the personality of Optimus prime, making him more pessimistic and negative.
