This plot beautifully melds the struggles of teens finding their place in the world with a seamless, fascinating encapsulation of the multiverse. Heart-wrenching yet heart-warming, humorous yet weighty, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse captures the best sides of multiple worlds (no pun intended) and demands attention throughout the entire 2 hour film. This movie is contrast, it is art, it is family, it is individuality, it is raw, teenage emotion, it is color and light and beauty. This is a masterpiece, a work of art that brings a down-to-earth Spider-Man to fly beyond the boundaries of what everybody says is possible and soar.
