I’m not sure what to think…yes Derfal was in a death pit but not saved by Arthur. Owain is a turd in the books but quite friendly to Arthur here, the entire birthing sequence seemed to be rushed when it had great importance in the books. I agree with the other people regarding “Arthur presented by your local HR department”…but I can overlook casting for good acting…which was marginal at times, we know the books are incredible….but how much will missed and changed? We all want to see Bernard’s version of Lancelot….Nimue is not quite what I expected. I’ll pay MGM for 2-3 more episodes before deciding to stay or pull the plug. These books were my favorite telling of King Arthur… I’ve read them or listened to them half dozen times at least…I am begging for a close retelling.
