As an amateur student of Gnosticism, I found this book fascinating. The author contrasted topics like Gnostic wisdom and consciousness with modern science. More than any other sages I've read about, the Gnostics were very precise in their descriptions of the forces behind creation. The collective Gnostic texts are something like a spiritual handbook revealing how to navigate through our spiritual journeys, the mindsets and pitfalls to avoid and the revelations for enlightenment. The book overlays this information onto modern science and sociology and the fit is remarkable. It presents a picture of consciousness and reality ranging from mythic to the scientific and really makes you rethink many commonly accepted notions. Peter is also great in a workshop and just has you craving for more. His insights, expertise and passion for the subject are evident as he shares his extensive knowledge of Gnostic wisdom and spirituality. This book is a must read for anyone on a spiritual path and seeking a greater understanding of life.
