This movie was one of my personal favorite Disney films. It was perhaps one of the darkest. The plot is similar to that of Toy Story, and in fact some of the people who made this movie later worked on Toy Story. I must warn parents and kids that this movie has very dark scenes, including a terrifying nightmare sequence. There is also a lot of references to suicide which adults might notice. Sadly, the author of the Brave Little Toaster Thomas M. Disch committed suicide in 2008.

Call of duty ghosts is actually a better game than people give it credit for. I personally think it's nice to see the United States no longer top dog, but a failed state desperately trying to defend itself against a newer superpower. The enemy is also unique. Some might say the Federación de las Américas is over the top, but something like this almost did happen in the early 2000s with the rise of Hugo Chavez. In some ways, fighting the federation is more fun than fighting the typical Russian or Chinese enemies . You're facing an enemy that has not just conventional weapons of every type imaginable, but you're also fighting them underwater and in space. Finally, who can forget the combat dog Riley? I always save playing this game after I have played Black ops 1 and 2.

Steven Universe Future was the last hurrah for the series. Although I felt it a bit rushed, it had moments that were far to real. PTSD is not funny, and Steven Universe Future does a great job not to make fun of it. I used to think Steven was a callow clueless happy child who was unaffected by all the abuse inflicted on him. I was very wrong. It effected him badly. Overall, I believe this was more for young adults than kids. Even the voice actor for Steven, Zach Caillson, is suffering from depression. I cannot help but wonder if the emotions expressed by his character were authentic or not. A great peace of art from the post-2010's. Well done R. Sugar.

I remember this animated film very well. When I was in second grade in the early 1990's our teacher showed us this movie in class and then gave us the option to buy copies of the VHS for $5.00. I got one thanks to my mother and I watched it over and over. It is a cute story with an adorable yet curious penguin chick trying to discover the wonders of his frozen world. He makes friends with other penguins, a husky pup, and a kind arctic scientist. However, the movie also shows the multitude of dangers faced by penguins (the worst being evil human poachers). I recommend it for children k-2 grade. It is a precursor to Happy Feet in my opinion. Fun Fact: This film was a collaborative project of Japan and the former USSR.

I used to call this show the “Mickey Mouse Crack House" because after only watching one episode I felt like I lost a few brain cells. The same way crack affects your brain after just one go at it. To this day there has never been a more revolting and obnoxious children show produced by Disney than the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse which aired from 2006 to 2016. It has an incredibly stupid theme song where all the characters come out and engage in a retarded dance. Of course Mickey is the ringleader and proves quite clearly that he is not fit to teach children the ABCs and one two threes. This is a show that almost makes fun of itself. The animation is terrible, with the characters very plastic and robotic in movement. It's so pathetic that even Mickey has his own dumb catch phrases to make his Pee Wee's playhouse knock off appear and disappear. Yes, kids will enjoy the stupid songs, but they will learn more by staring at a rock than they will ever learn from this abomination. At least Barney taught you how to care and share with others. The Mickey Mouse Clubhouse only teaches kids to jump up and down to the horrible tune of the Hot Dog song. If it does anything, it helps the Disney corporation with sales as children beg their parents to buy this terrible show. Please avoid it at all costs!!

You ever hear the saying, "Beware the rage of a kind soul."? That alone describes how good this limited series / sequel to the original series was. Steven seemed to be unfazed by everything that happened to him during the original series. S.U.F. completely debunked that. Now you have a Steven who has become mentally unhinged from the years of physical and mental abuse by both friends and foes. The show is phenomenally more serious, and exposes the true darkness from within waiting to escape. It's ironic, yet a very fitting, that the most threatening and most powerful antagonist of the series was the innocent jovial boy with a gem in his navel. Good conclusion.

Whoever thought of this idea must have been high on mushrooms. I mean seriously!? Velma looks like a corpulent dark-skined Dora the Explorer with glasses and a turtle neck. Her personality can best be described as annoyingly hot headed and mean. This Velma is not a likable character, and neither are the other supporting characters. And what's the deal turning shaggy into a dimwitted drug-addicted black guy. I understand racial diversification, but this is ridiculous. Since there is no Scooby, thank God, I can honestly conclude that this is nothing more than a poorly made bastardization of the Scooby-Doo franchise. Avoid this show at all costs.
