UPDATE: After an insipidly stupid episode in Season 3 with Diane throwing hatchets, a cartoon song about Trump and Roy Cohen, a lousy Al Pacino impression from Michael Sheen and liberals walking around fuming about Trump 24/7, I STOPPED watching. A promising series just became too hateful and stupid. Enough navel gazing! Maybe it would have gotten better, but I don't care anymore. ICK. Original review: If you loved The Good Wife (I did) then you will enjoy The Good Fight as many of the characters re-appear with some notable additions that keep the show fresh and sharp. The writing is excellent, the acting really good even though the opening credits with accompanying music is a little manic and desperate. As a conservative, I appreciate a differing opinion and the left-leaning of Hollywood doesn't offend me, but it does make me laugh out loud sometimes. I am currently watching Season 2 and the episodes surrounding the Russia Hoax are good for several guffaws. I look forward to watching them handle the scamdemic. Elsbeth Tascioni and Judge Abernathy are two stand-outs. Kevin Pollack's judge is deliciously sarcastic and the courtroom scenes are electric. It is fun to watch a show that thinks it is making a self-righteous statement about politics, while unintentionally skewering lawyers that sell their souls for money. Fun, fun, fun!
