Normally I don’t write reviews on movies I watch cause most the time people usually don’t care what the reviews say unless majority of the reviews rate it 1 star.
I’m not really sure where to start or finish without “spoiling” the movie.
So at first I’m thinking another angry person(s) who want revenge because they where “hurt” and it kinda was hard to follow the plot line (other than the obvious) or I’m a complete air head. I’d like to think it’s the 1st option.
Anywho… I thought it was a great movie. One of her best movies yet.
One person who put up a review said it was the typical criminal who couldn’t get a job etc.
In my opinion it was so much more than that.
So going into the plot, you’re given one sided views of this person who was found guilty of murder and everyone has a very harsh opinion bout what went down.
As you watch the movie, you’re surrounded by a lot of strong emotions, on so many different levels.
You’ve got a grieving family of someone they lost, you’ve got anger because of that. A woman who fights to get her life back on track and society who continues to punish her even though she did her time.
You’ve got her little sister, who has grown up while her older sister was serving time. She has flash backs of certain traumatic events that took place when she was little.
You’ve also got the “adopted” family that tries to protect the younger sister as an adult.
As things unfold, you’re given multiple sides that aren’t shown at first.
The ending of the movie seemed a bit off and almost like it was rushed. It sorta came to an abrupt end, like this review!
