So far; this is the silliest and most boring Doctor Who ever and I was expecting far better; I haven't seen scripts this embarrassing and just plain stupid or this badly written since the very worst of the John Pertwee, (notoriously bad,) run. Pertwee, (like all the previous Doctors,) however had the presence, strength of character and the charisma to pull off, where as Jodi Whittaker doesn't. But it's not entirely Jodi Whittiker's fault; it carries on from some of the complete rubbish that the previous Dr, ( Peter Capaldi,) was burdened by the BBC who seem to be using the character as some sort of political/social soapbox. By the end of last run Peter Capaladi, (who I love,) was looking bored to death and sick and tired of the whole increasingly sad business; now after only one season Jodi Whittaker is already developing the same glazed and despondent look. As someone else has put it elsewhere, "Doctor Who is dead, they jumped the shark on the gender bender stuff." I'm not really sure it was gender bending, (which already looks like just a cheap gimmick that's gone wrong,) which, "broke," the character because that has actually worked brilliantly with his/her long time antagonist The Master, (Missy,) it's just been really badly written and scripted by various tedious, clueless and talentless people more keen to preach than to entertain. Even the best actor needs, "something," to work with. I'm not even convinced she's really a woman to be honest.

More a Disney film than a Marvel film and it didn't begin to do justice the character, also I thought it was overlong preachy and very contrived; by the end I was bored. Of all the MCU film that I watched and most of them have been pretty good and a few of them were brilliant; this one was far and away the worst more like Mulan than The Master of Kung Fu.
