AMAZING film, poignant, deeply haunting and life affirming. Makes room for the fragility of love and loss.

Brilliant film. It was deeply moving, to witness the devotion and love that Mary had for Jesus and was very insipring and beautiful and not at all uncomfortable. I don't know if it was "historically acurate" as some people have suggested that it wasn't which quite frankly they need to chill out about, The doctrine and strictness of the bibles views and history isn't needed here. That's my opinion!! This film is about devotion, love, worship and suffering too. Human experience. Highly recommended.
