I did not enjoy the movie. Blanchett is a wonderful actor but the movie is pompas and confusing. The quippy dialogue invites a conceited assumption that those in the audience will understand the exchanges. This is not smart dialogue, this is a middle finger to the viewer. Don't take my word for it.
