Loved the music and the highly detailed artistry that went into each scene. There were some fantastic framing techniques that were used as well to use a unique way of showing the story. But what separated this for me from being a perfect 5 stars was the sorrytelling. It often felt accelerated and all over the place, jumping from moment to moment and time frame to time frame without warning, leaving me to try and pick up where we are currently due to context clues. This tactic isn't necessarily bad, it just happened too often for me that I often felt lost in the story and asking myself, "Wait, who's that again? What were they doing?"

Had to start watching after reading Pete Holmes' book, "Comedy Sex God". Did NOT disappoint! 🤣

It achieved what it was going for, which is a cheap, feel-good movie. Will it win an Oscar? No, not by a longshot, but if you want a quick smile, this'll do the trick, and you can do a lot worse than the Trolls series.
