Sacrilege. Patterson and his lackey ghost writer Sitts take an excellent character and turn him into a joke. Plus I'm tired of his writing. It's on a 12 year old reading level. No metaphors, lame dialogue and cardboard characters (you can put Dean Koontz in this category as well). In the hands of Philip Jose Farmer or Preston and Child these concepts would have produced a masterpiece. Instead we have a jumbled mess. Patterson also ruined Doc Savage.

A complete incoherent mess. Miller is neither Barry Allen or the Flash. What we have is Miller doing a bad Jerry Lewis imitation. Where is the Flash Rogues Gallery? Where is the Flash for that matter. Why couldn't they have done the Infantino/Gardner Fox version? Why didn't they bring back Michelle Pfeiffer as Catwoman, wed to Bruce Wayne and with the Huntress as their daughter? Why isn't the JSA featured? Why is Supergirl a brunette? Why is General Zod in the film ? Why didn't they use material from the JLA comic books ? Why didn't they use this to introduce Power Girl or other DC characters? Why are the CGI effects so cheesy ?
I did enjoy the cameos from George Reeves and Adam West however.

Would've appreciated at least a mention of the original Doc Savages fate, not to mention Pat and the assistants. The use of the villain from Lester Dents (Kenneth Robeson) earlier work is nice. Would read a follow up book
