"Why?" is the question that popped into my mind every time I finished an episode.
It was all there, in the books. A complex story, rooted in science and the supernatural, with strong, well-developed characters. All they needed to do was to transport that to the screen. So, why they didn't? Why did they have to butcher it, sanitize it, and transform it into a teenager fan fic for internet pagans?
It's beyond repair at this point. Maybe HBO can get the rights to adaptation in the future and do it the way it should be. Dense, mysterious, and beyond morality.
One star for the beautiful opening + song. And the house.
