As a college history major, I think this is a valid and authentic adaptation of the original manuscript. History as it actually happened should be respected and guarded in perpetuity, not hidden or banished as we are experiencing in the United States with the banishing books like this and the removal of all historical monuments and statues. That, in essence, is taking our society backwards.
