Insane opening scene! Cinematography lead the charts. Great side pieces being shown slightly to introduce the plot and I love the introduction to a lot of past characters. The opening scene had me feeling mixed emotions though. The whole episode was so well written to make setting in the show, and to know what we should expect to see out of Daredevil. MORE 1 SHOT FIGHT SCENES!!! <EDIT> *SPOLIER 2 THE 1 ⭐️ REVIEWS* Just read the 1 star reviews. I would like to say that if you do not like the first episode cause of the route they took in the storyline; it is actually quite comic accurate to take this route to set the tone on why Matt doesn’t want to be DD anymore. I feel like it either had to be Karen or Foggy to set the tone on Matt, as he almost committed murder himself. In that being said that why they wanted to go that route so Matt has to see the need in being the DD we loved so much on Netflix. And to Foggy I will miss him being alive and happy he had such a great personality that lit up the screen. I honestly think we will see more of him in the show in Matts head though. Just a theory, but Elden Henson made it seem like he had more than 10 minutes screen time with the character.
