My mother-in-law gave this to me to read during the pandemic. In the Prologue (even before chapter one) Nicholas gave away a detail that gave away the ending early on for me. Nicholas wrote that he visited a man building a ramp to his front door! (I knew where the book was headed when combined with Hope's father's illness.) Also, I believe the title should've been 'Kindred Spirit' because 'Every Breath' made no sense to me. Otherwise, a simple, lovely story.
