It's not easy to grasp the 1948 event unless one study the book thoroughly, but this film helps to explain the context. Farha also beautifully captures Palestinian culture before the occupation. The villages, the houses, the wedding, the girls' dreams and hopes are something that are rarely featured in films for the world to see. Farha is the film that everyone must watch. Palestinians plights and sufferings are rarely captured in films.
