It's a great action sci fi film. Though it's not as special effect/cgi spectacular as marvel or star wars. But it has something important that has been lacking in the recent star wars and marvel flims: focused on telling a story and not a fan service montage main characters die, characters grow and develop through conflict, two separate story lines are able to build up, get tension, and resolve because this movie doesn't waste time trying to shove in an overly CGI fight scene or 10 different references to previous films It's like the John Wick films, which harken back to the 80s/90s action-scifi films that focused on a simple struggle and conflict and trimmed away stuff that wouldn't tie back to the story at hand it's not a masterpiece, but it's a good film that takes you on a fun ride
