I was in contact with Joshua Monroe-Blanchette regarding one of the company's buildings on Sherbrooke West in Montreal. I passed the application phase and was sent a lease to sign without ever being given the opportunity to see the apartment, neither in person or in a virtual tour. When I asked to see the apartment, I was told that I could only visit the next day but was welcome to schedule a virtual tour if I was unable to make it in person. I agreed to the virtual tour, and was then ghosted the next day, despite numerous calls and texts prompting for some kind of update. Next thing I know the DocuSign for the lease was cancelled, without any follow up.
I can understand if an apartment is highly sought after that it would have been taken before I got to do my tour, but the lack of follow-up shows a complete lack of professionalism and consideration for my time. If this is how they interact with prospective tenants I can't imagine how they treat their actual tenants who are stuck in a year long lease with them.
