The opening scene is very disturbing with the violent destruction of baby dolls. Barbie, herself, is very likeable, and some of the scenes are very colorful as expected. However, the movie generally portrays men in a bad light until the end; suddenly, Ken is Kenough. Barbie goes to the real world, which is expected, but the ending scenes just miss it altogether. Ruth and Barbie talk about being human. Then Barbara goes to the gynecologist. Really??? Still SMH. Not really child appropriate either.
