To revisit the horrors of slavery in such a boorish sloppy stereotypical manner was a travesty. Blacks and whites both slyly be appalled at this terrible movie. The script seemed like an after thought. Even the revenge escape scene was outlandish. Though it was filled with plenty of irony, it fell well short of entertaining believable or even sensible. There was no continuity in the transition scenes. This was an insult to my sensibilities. All the actors in this production should be ashamed. I know they were just collecting a paycheck but maybe they should have asked for more time to polish up the screen play. That wasn't even worth my $4 not my time. The advertisements were misleading. The cut in the scenes showed lead me to believe that it was some sort of Sci Fi time travel event. I guess I couldn't have done better since I haven't.
