My wife makes me watch this show for our "together time" in the evening.
1) Clearly the scene with Garret eating the baloney was a callback reference to bad-boy Chad and his baloney eating. I zinged my wife for not noticing that.
2)Luke P. might be born again, but I don't think Jesus would have approved of him kneeing his rugby opponent in the face after already having tossed him on the ground.
3) It's pretty clear that the producers of the show wanted to keep Luke P around as long as possible for the drama.
