The Kissing Booth. Where to start? Anyways, I just don't understand why this movie gets SO much hate! I mean sure it's a bit cringey and cheesy, but I think everybody needs more of that in their life. It's a cute movie and the acting is actually pretty good, the plot is your average teen romcom. But it also does feel more realistic as to how a teen girl today would act, Elle is not portrayed as some helpless girl who can never stand up for herself and somehow pulls countless guys with her lack of personality (perhaps like a certain vampire romance franchise). Elle is a strong take-no-bs kinda person.The movie feels nostalgic and again while it is a bit cheesy I like it. So sue me!

It is one of the absolute best and most creative movies of its time, from the plot to the characters to the actors and actresses, and the overall detail of the Lego sets. This movie is funny, and brings back a nostalgic feeling of playing with legos, it has humor, action, and heartwarming scenes. The cast is also amazing, Elizabeth Banks, Chris Pratt, Will Ferrell, Morgan Freeman, Liam Neeson, Nick Offerman, and so many more. I thought it would be corny, but even as an adult watching with my kids, it had so many lol moments. People who hate this movie, hate childhood, and Will Ferrell, go buy some LEGOs, and watch this movie :)
