To think that this was supposed to take inspiration from Slippin' Jimmy absolutely boggles one's mind. It lacks the depth and nuance of the original animated series. What a sick joke.

Let me preface this by speaking of Slippin' Jimmy's far lesser tenured and reputable spin-off "TV shows", I am referencing the mediocre "Better Call Saul" and "Breaking Bad", one ponders if such drivel can be even called television. Bince Gilligan tried so hard to create something special when he was inspired by the ground-breaking masterpiece slippin' jimmy. Bince primarily founded the inspired Breaking Bad, the show in brief summation turned out to be horrifically mediocre. Despite his shortcomings, I thought that being the open-minded and highly academic individual (I have an IQ of 86, and yes I tested it using the internet, so I KNOW), I'd give BINCES close companion and fellow foot fetishist Peter Gould's spin-off series titled "Better Call Saul" a go. Naturally, my hopes weren't high, once again I was unsurprisingly let down. They say every masterpiece has its cheap copy, and in this case, copies. Slippin' Jimmy is the Breaking Bad/BCS's universe equivalent of a true magnum opus. It contains strong themes of moral introspection and really delves into interesting character development, something that Better Call Saul and Breaking Bad could never dream of even attempting! It has action, unlike the tedious, lethargic, lacklustre and languid Breaking Bad. Slippin' Jimmy boasts supreme pacing, state-of-the-art animation and cinematography, the same can't be said regarding the poorly paced home video quality disaster that was Better Call Saul. Both Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul seriously lack any sense of danger, neither of those shows ever made me feel anything beyond disdain and boredom. Slippin' Jimmy grips you (in all the right places) and keeps tugging, and tugging on you, it doesn't let go. A truly indescribable masterpiece, I thirst and yearn for more. When Jimmy said the now almost too famous line, "It is my fellow gentleminions, time to slip", I found myself ingrained in slip and was in pure Ecstasy for fourteen hours. Lesser minds will not understand such intellectual pleasures. Minions : Rise of Gru now almost seems like a child's level of entertainment when compared to it. Slippin' Jimmy marks one of the series of all time, it is certainly one of the works of history.
