I loved this movie so so much! I went to the movies with my high school a couple of days ago, we all met up after shopping and walked in. I wanted to go in blind, so I hadn't read any reviews or even seen the trailer or movie poster beforehand. We took our seats and watched through the ads, and FINALLY, the movie started. From the start, I was a bit on the edge, but when the movie skipped to the current time period in the movie's universe, that's the part of the movie that made me and my friends absolutely FREAK OUT! (in the best way possible). I felt so represented that there were gay characters! the representation of not only gay, but disabled, POC, and Asian people were amazing! I really hope this movie made everyone feel represented and comforted that Disney has taken a step forward since the Owl House situation. I loved this movie so much that I already drew fanart haha! I do have one complaint, but it isn't really Disney's fault. There are some characters that I wanted to learn about. Generally with media, if you have an interesting background character, they'll have an image and a small description about them, but the background characters in Strange world were completely swept under the rug. I couldn't even find good photos of Caspian and he HAS LINES! Either way, I loved this movie, and I definitely would recommend you go see it because I know I want to watch it again :D
