Martin Sweeting

I was a recent convert to Formula One, with the discovery of Netflix’s Drive to Survive series, back in 2022. That’s when I discovered it, and I was immediately a fan. This film, F1, I found to be very closely aligned with that model of racing culture exposure, and cadence, which is to say it’s engaging and fast paced, but also very well composed, filmed, and produced. My only complaint is that I couldn’t find very many film related products for sale after leaving the theatre! I suggest having displays of related merchandise for sale in the lobby for patrons to splurge on while the urge is still at its zenith, upon exiting the showing. Imagine walking out of the theatre (through the lobby, not into the dark parking lot from a side exit) still buzzing from the experience and seeing a full display of F1 Film related merchandise…you’d think, I’ve got to have that to prolong the feeling. Great film. In my opinion.
