this is hands down unironically one of the best live action renditions from a cartoon series. all of the actors are amazing and bring the cartoon characters to justice, especially the actor of Shaggy (Matthew Lillard). in a way this movie is on the same level as Shrek in terms of changing the movie industry. for better or for worse it showed Hollywood that they’re able to bring animated goofy looking animals into the real world. without this Scooby movie we probably would’ve never gotten the live action Sonic, Detective Pikachu, Smurfs, and a bunch of others. heck this movie helped James Gunn “debut” and created a domino effect into him working on bigger projects. so go watch this movie and show it some love.
