After watching the movie, I googled to see its reviews and was pleased to see its high rating although…. I filtered the one star reviews and could see most were given without seeing the movie through and stopped watching after 10-20 mins because they were comparing it to the original I’m a 90’s baby and grew up on the original. I personally was amazed by the new story line, as well as the AMAZING children actors. I thought the main character did an amazing job with her part and the dance routine and songs were astounding. It’s been a day since I finished watching and all I can think about was how good it was and I wish I could experience that first watch again. If you’re a Matilda fan, watch it through till the end and enjoy the amazing sing alongs they added in (subtitles makes it even better). Loved, loved, loved!!
