I can only imagine that Shyamalan said, “I want to write an ending so terrible, so incredibly awful that people will question my career and how much of my success is based my own individual skill and ability.” First 1:45 min wasn’t great, but thanks to Willis and Jackson it was watchable. I kept hanging on waiting for the action-packed climax and, spoiler alert, IT DOESN'T HAPPEN! Worst ending to a major feature, ever.
