I seen original film was quiet impressive in its art of puppetry and environment. After I saw age of resistance film. I wasn't quite sure what to think in Netflix panel. Astonishing enough, this was new modern tv web series prequel. The puppets gave similar vibe but I can tell the cgi help enhance there was more movement to the world of Thra. Don't get me wrong. I adore orginal film but it felt like small fragments of world Thra. That we are just peering through small crack. I believe the great differences is time . And this web series is making possible to see more Thra lore and Gleflings . To be honest I want to see more. I know it where it lead to but it cannot stop from falling love with Gleflings making there stand and make me wonder for Deet. I won't give spoilers but clue . Yes I do believe they can do more in movements of puppets but we have to appreciate the massive work of art from facial features of Skekisis to Gleflings to Podlings to entire world thra we are just seeing within 10 hours we gotten from first series. Of course it isn't Jim Henson but his legacy. To keep it alive. Some how I feel like these Gleflings and Podling feel most human and Skekisis. Uru feel more intangible . So this my opinion . You could disagree or agree. We all have different tastes and styles.

Pros: Has great number diversity characters. Has wonderful colors and has interesting childhood villain for protagonist. Kind of a rivalry and few elements interesting plot. Really fast pace in action.A lot diversity body shapes which are really unique. Cons: Lack contour lights and darkness. Feels too feminist, it takes diversity of characters base on genders and plot and preferences. Since the character is more choosen one less than this it's own morals or values. Truly going in depth with characters and more like tell and not show within characters action ( with exception of Catra , who has most character growth in the story) The poor friendship trope is frequently use without creative script write Jokes are bland generic .Shown to be rush in production and need some more team to work on story as well dialogue they are trying to convey. Make a lot there characters unique and spend more time to know them and really connect with them. It would make story more believable and likable with other characters from horde feel what main protagonist felt . Needs improvement and diversity to make characters feel real and needed in story . Sorry I hope it is helpful and trying not bias. I am trying say what I feel and hope producers kind take it as critique to improve . They good elements but bad executions that they need practice and see they enjoy and not just girls would enjoy but boys too. Cannot just win just empower teen girl audiences but boys too because that makes story relatable because you Male characters that should use but mistreat and push them down just for sake to girls but both can co exist and be just great together despite genders and and step bit away from clique and more what can everyone relate in that position and princesses too. Not just main cast. Than be right
