My partner and I looked forward to seeing Oppenheimer. But it turned out to be a massively over-long and over-produced documentary. Yes, the visuals were strong, but the presentation lacked cohesion and it all became so boring that we walked out after 90 minutes. With some relief. That evening we watched an old 90min documentary on Oppenheimer that told the story far better. Not least through doing it without attempting an all-out assault on the senses.
