Many not familiar with the legal profession do not understand the importance of a jury's roll in judgement by one's peers. This wonderful movie brings to the forefront the following most important points.1) a man's life is important, 2) words used to take or judge a man's life are important 3) we are in an era(age) the Bible calls "Man's Day" where men do the judging. Until the fullness of time when "The Lord's Day" returns and God does the judging, this is what we have as a temporary substitute. It was established so men(mankind) can do the best judgment available to bring justice upon man. The number 12 is biblically based for this important task. Twelve people are specially noted in scripture as being anointed for a unique task or responsibility which, in this case it is for justice pending the return of a just God.
