It’s funny when all of the ingredients are there, a wonderful story a solid cast and yet somethings a miss. It’s as if they took the style and art direction of Tim Burton and the magical characters of a classic, then drugged it all with a sedative. Chalamet looks like a novice while everyone else is chewing up the scenery. I can’t remember a single song and I hope I forget the rest of the film as quickly. Now, if you’re under eight years old and are entertained by things like “baby shark”, this might be a film for you.
