I have read this three times and enjoy it more each time. The Japanese culture is vastly different from our own. So much so that I wouldn’t recommend visiting Japan before reading this book. While Japan is of course much more modern now, it is important to know their past in order to conduct oneself properly. Respect being the most important aspect.
