Charlie the chocolate factory is a really great book which is really fun to read and it teaches us a lot of values. My favourite character is Charlie because he was not selfish, he was kind, and wanted to help his family for example when Charlie finnally got the golden ticket he thought to sell it for money to help his family at the cost of loosing his only chance to visit the magical factory. The part that I found so amazing was that he built Willy Wonka's chocolate factory from the toothpaste caps that his father bought home.I also like Charlie's grandfather as he gave Charlie some money to spend it on the chocolate. My favourite part of the movie is when Charlie could have taken the whole factory but refuses because he doesn't want to be away from his family. The children welcomed the book with all their hearts and because of this, later a movie was made on this book written by Roald Dahl.
