Game is beautiful, story brings up some tears and is relatable. Love the stylized art. Puzzles are challenging and the shrink mechanics make it stand-out. Design forces you to follow the story and punishes you hard with wasted time walking around for derailing.
However, the game has a ton of game-stuck bugs that confuse the user. On more than a couple times, I got myself trying to figure out how to move forward, when in reality I couldn't because the game was just bugged (i.e. A lever wouldn't open a door)
Also, I would have appreciated mechanics that would allow me to restart object placement without having to go through the entire level again. Specially frustrating with the cutscenes since they cannot be skipped. (Example: Somehow got the ramp item placed inside a building, completely unreachable. Had to restart since my "last load" was already in the broken state). LOVED that the last level had the "return to hub" mechanic. Would have loved that in the first couple levels.
Also got very dizzy sometimes due to the game having some input issues when it comes to the controller and placing items. I understand why they have to restrict input (The whole object placing mechanic) but when it takes the input from you and moves the camera around, it just frustates you and affects your perception (Which for me just makes me nauseous)
So for anyone reading this, just make sure to check online if you are stuck because it might be a bug. Also avoid steering away and wanting to explore the "Gigantic Versions" of the game unless you are genuinely curious. There is NOTHING there, you will just waste time.
Otherwise, great game!
