Best game ever! In seriousness though, this game is phenomenal. Its glitchiness made it fun and unique compared to Mario Kart 8, where there, there is no freedom. The new mechanics added are game-changers, like Tricking, Bikes, 12 players, a more beginner-friendly drift system, and tracks that are better than ever before. The character roster is amazing, featuring everyone’s favourite Kong, Funky Kong! The vehicle stats, whilst absolutely broken (*cough* Bowser Bike *cough* Mach Bike) makes for fun clan wars. The difference between karts and bikes makes for some diversity, albeit bikes are superior in every single way. The item balance is crazy, and makes for super fun races. The tracks are beyond fantastic! Coconut Mall, Mushroom Gorge, Koopa Cape, Maple Treeway, Toads Factory, Wario’s Gold Mine, Dry Dry Ruins, Bowsers Castle, Rainbow Road, so many great tracks. The graphics, while not good, have definitely not aged. And the Mario Kart Wii community is still thriving today, and is so passionate about the game that they set up Wiimfii servers, so people can still play the online to this day. The time trial scene is also amazing. If you’ve seen Ultra Shortcuts, BcWii Halfpipe Glitch, GV Rock Hop, TC Lake Shortcut, DKSC Double, and many more, you know what I’m talking about. The competitive scene is also booming, and just keeps growing and growing. Also, this game has a mod called CTGPR, which adds 216 custom tracks, Item Rain, 200cc, 24 Player, Mega Thunderclouds, and Anti-Cheat System, and so much more. if you’re struggling on getting CTGP, then watch TWD98’s video about how to get CTGP. Overall, one of the most fun games conceived by all of humanity. I’d even give this 6 stars, but I can’t, so 6 stars it is!
