What a steaming pile of garbage! Absolute joke of a film. Alex Garland needs to go back to film school. More dumb mind control cinema from the globalists as they move towarda New World Order. Got to bring down the Old World Order first tho of course. Only way to bring down America is from within. First Leave The World Behind now this nonsense. Conclusion: give it a miss. 2 hours of my life I won't get back. Question: When are we getting a film about ordinary citizens rising up against the elites and their puppets? Answer: never. P.S. POTUS is just a puppet in case you haven't figured it out yet.

Best combat film I've seen since The Covenant. The direction and FX are outstanding for a sub $20m film. The CIA asset mcguffin could've had real Intel on an impending terrorist attack. Which would've made his rescue all the more meaningful. Loved Crowes character and he played it well. The climax is utterly nail-biting edge of your seat stuff. Very rare these days. Good to see masculine men in action as opposed to the leftist nancyboy agenda. And wow no super butch female lead, what a relief! Amazing what happens when filmmakers are actually good at their craft and care about the final product. Perhaps the idiot suits stayed out of it this time? Would've preferred to see it at the cinema tbh.

One star is way too harsh imho. 2.5/5 is probably a pretty accurate score tho. This could have been a great film of redemption and healing the past. Instead it ended up just being a bleak pointless journey where everyone loses. I suspect there is some political motivation behind this film rather than a purely creative one. Hollywood has gone down the proverbial gurgler and will remain there until new management takes over. Oscar Isaac is brilliant as usual, this guy could make reading the phone book interesting. Only watch this if there's nothing else better. In the 80s, 90s, 00s there would be 20 to 30 good films released in a year, now we're lucky if there's 2 or 3!

This film exemplifies the motto "Semper Fidelis". Sadly you will only find this level of loyalty and brotherhood in the military these days as the human collective continues to slide into spiritual oblivion. Its a well put together film. Not without its flaws but they don't significantly detract from the overall cinematic ride Ritchie takes you on. The film does well to raise the injustice dished out to Afghan translators by the corrupt US military brass. No surprise considering they don't even look after their own vets properly. Overall a good film 5🌟 from me.
