Excellent read and felt like I finally got a glimpse of what REALLY happened in Viewnam. Like many others I was not aware of the women nurses and the role they played in this thankless war. For the first time the women Vets are being appreciated, even tho this is a fiction essay. Hannah has a knack to make us feel we are beside the heiron as she tackles the maiham that surrounds her with her courage and unselfish dedication. I applaud Hannah for creating a work of fiction that exposes the role many women played in this unappreciated war villans and returned home to not be heros - but misunderstood brave patriots that were ignored and treated unfairly. Hard not to book this book down.
