Another good read by Amor Towles. His ability to make every character relatable and believable whether likeable or not is a credit to this author. A book you can truly escape into. A true page turner! Whether you like the ending or not, the journey from beginning to end will keep you hooked.

This is in my top 10 of all time greatest reads. The characters are believable and relatable. The description of Brisbane takes you there. I loved the drawings and how each drawing related to a chapter. It is tragedy. It is love. It is vulnerality. It is survival. Cannot recommend this enough.

This book was a bit chaotic and I couldn't quite relate to the characters. There were several sub-plots that didn't seem to go anywhere (eg. the husbands relationship with his ex-girlfriend). It was an okay read.
