My main objection is actually a technical choice. The editing. There are. Cuts every. Few. Second and even the longer. Ones. Don't hold long. This repeatedly kills the momentum, breaks up our feeling about the character interaction, and wastes other wise beautiful scenery.

It's just getting started but they have their fingers on the core of star wars. The challenge of being a force wielder is the emotional reality of the experience. How do you make the magic work, without either giving in to fear, or losing human connection. Or do you pursue one of those? The force itself does not care about people. Yet it responds and has a will.

I have seen at least 3, maybe 4 movies, which were worse than this.
