This film has so much going on, the plot runs from lows to highs and back again so quickly and in so many ways. The main character is supported by the humanity of those around him. The Tourette's adds both humour and a strong ethical strand through the film but in a down to earth genuine way. Very emotional film, which is great fun at the same time and we can all learn to be better from it. If we live with rather than against those who are different we will all have a richer life. And we are all different and the same anyway!
My only slight issue was the lack of filming in Galashiels. Wrong colours on the football strips etc. But nice to hear references to real places in Gala in the film and to hear this incredible story based in the town. John is our superstar.
