I've now reread 'Bees' three times. Each time I liked it more. Honestly at first I was disappointed, I read it through very quickly, because I was so anxious to read what happened at the ending, I shorted myself, the book and the author by almost skimming the text. I have changed my opinion and I suggest those who weren't enthralled, read 'Bees' again, slowly, let the story and the characters steep within your consciousness.
