ITV Racing coverage of the Royal Ascot 2023 meeting this week - comments - far too much chatter (especially in competition with the Military Band) So many experts and pundits but the ones I presumed to talk about the fashion (Mark and Charlotte) seem to cover anything OTHER than Fashion. Ascot is famed for its well-dresssed attendees but sadly there are very few shots of posh frocks. One section was how to make a pink fizzy drink (which no one drunk by the way) Also coverage of the Royal Procession - far too many distance shots - not enough detail of who are in the four carriages. I know that the Horses, Jockeys, Trainers etc. are the most important things to cover but please think of us poor people at home - we need a really good coverage of the lighter side of the week. Thanking you in anticipation. PS You don't even cover every presentation of prizes either......lots of shots of Frankie this week but the earlier and later race winners are rarely shown.
