There are many positive things to say about the book. I read the original 1995 edition, put out before Obama's election as President. The chapter on being Black in the US is well-done, an eye-opener for those who are objective about social issues. The author tries to be objective down-the-line in all the chapters, on all the issues.
The statistics make the book a dated work, and I see there is an updated version, which I may obtain at some point.
A well-documented work to engender discussion.
