DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY ON THIS MOVIE!!!! You would be better off watching the original at home as this is just another Disney cash grab remake. I feel like Walt is rolling in his grave right now! When was the last time Disney made an ORIGINAL MOVIE?? Not a sequel or remake but something ORIGINAL!!! The voice acting is okay given that the actors really didn’t have much to work with. I mean a talking real lion isn’t expected to have much emotion, but Disney could’ve did better. You can have photorealistic characters and still animate emotion on them. I MEAN ROCKET RACCOON LOOKS REAL AND HE SHOWS MORE EMOTION THAN SIMBA WHEN HIS DAD DIED!!! The music is great but I think they used Beyoncé’s name for more money. Can you feel the love tonight was done in the daytime??? And her voice really tuned out Donald’s. Be prepared was actually one of the worst Disney villain songs I’ve ever heard. Scar was just terrible. He wasn’t intimidating at all. He just sounded like someone reading their script off the paper and being recorded. I could point out so much more but I don’t want this review to be extremely long. If you’re still wondering if you should see it or not, I would suggest waiting until it comes out on a streaming service, so you don’t have to pay any money for it. You aren’t really missing anything other than maybe the soundtrack
