It's a treat for Malayalam movie and Fahad Fazil fans!! Movie is a tad long but the narrative is very earthy and detailed. I think Fahad Fazil heard me after my Joji review. I had wished that he would act in movies that offer light hearted comedy like Bangalore Days and he's done just that with this movie. Paachuvum Adhbudha Vilakkum has a lot of it's moments. It's a movie with a soul. The background score and music is very soulful and stays with you after the movie. Fahad Fazil's character is the best. He has such a keen eye for details that his mannerisms, comic timing is A+. Very everyday kinda character with a whole lot of charm. Keep doing such endearing roles because there's an audience that detests watching you in gory, dark movies. Lot of characters are very well written like the character of Fahad Fazil's shop attendant (full marks to him for his subtle comedy and innocent portrayal of the character), Laila (the Aunty with the heart), even Riyaaz (played by Vineet). Each one touches a chord with the audience. Go all out and watch the movie if you wanna have a good time watching one of the best actors in Indian Cinema, Fahad Fazil over some clean, family, everyday humour.

Gold is definitely it's worth in Gold! Prithviraj and Nayantara look really cool. The starcast is awesome and each one has an entertaining role. The story is simple but told in a very entertaining way. The music and bg is good, building the momentum. Loved it!! Way to go Prithviraj!! You've lived it up to the audience expectations yet again!! Without revealing the story much, would highly recommend Gold to all movie lovers who are looking for plain, simple entertainment!

Must watch for every Indian as we must support such meaningful movies by going all out to the theatres. Full credits to Madhavan who's done an incredible job in acting and direction. The movie tracks the injustice done to Mr.Nambi Narayanan, an ace scientist of ISRO as he's falsely implicated in a case. It's not just a personal loss but a huge loss to the country as such an immensely talented person is wasted. Go out and support the cause!! The movie will haunt you for days together.

Do not watch Joji if you watch films for entertainment and happiness. Yet another dark role played by the very talented Fahad Fazil that glorifies violence. I wonder how Fahad maintains sanity in his real life after doing such edgy, psychological thriller movies. Joji isn't much of a thriller though. Set in a non-descript village in Kerala, this movie revolves around a family of three brothers who have a really dominating father. Joji aka Fahad Fazil is suffocated in this environment as he is seen as a good for nothing boy by his father and brothers alike. This is reason enough for going into the killing spree. The cinematography is good and so is the setting of the film in Covid times. Stands as a testament to human resilience in terms of making a film in a small budget, showcasing simplicity at it's best! That's the Mallu spirit! However, I wish there were more comic elements and the movie wasn't so dark, so deprived of family love. One time watch but there aren't many take aways. Fahad, you can do some light roles. I'm sure you'll shine brighter!! An actor par excellence surely needs to experiment beyond the dark genre.
