This was the kind of book I picked up and put down wayyy too many times. I just couldn’t get into it, but I never give up on books as any reader shouldn’t. So I pushed through what seemed to be a very slow book. For me it finally got to be good halfway through and that’s when I stuck to consistently reading each day. Every time I thought it was going to pick up and bring me somewhere exciting, it didn’t. I just finished reading and my only though is MEH. All those slow and painful pages for one chapter of action and disappointment. I do not recommend this read unfortunately; however I did enjoy her book In a Dark, Dark Wood.
