Pokemon Sw/Sh are fun pokemon games. If you like Pokemon games of the past, chances are you will enjoy this one. Would have given 5 stars, but two things dragged it down to 4 stars in my opinion. First, the stamp system used for online play is frankly more frustrating than useful. Its 2020 now, online play is a staple of gaming. If the stamp system is the best gamefreak can do, its very disappointing. I wont go into details, but if you plan on playing this game online, be prepared to deal with a headache. Secondly, while the graphics are very nice overall, the wild area has some textures that are just terrible (Im looking at you trees). I don't mind bad graphics, I regularly play old ps1, snes, and gameboy games. But these terrible textures become jarring when seen ingame because they obviously don't belong there. I know many fans are upset over the dexit issue as well, and I'm not dismissing that criticism. But for me personally it was a non issue, so I couldn't honestly factor it into my personal review. Like I said, its a great game. I'm still giving it 4 stars because of all the fun I've got from, and will continue to get from, playing the game. Hopefully gamefreak fixes the stamp system for online play, and if (like I suspect) they don't, hopefully its a learning experience for them as they develop future games.
